The Year 2014
When Till Kautz decided to leave Germany to start life in Singapore, he had no idea what his furniture making skills meant in an urban City state. Together with his wife, they set up a joinery to share his heritage and love for wood work with the country he now calls home.
Over the years, they adapted to customer needs, style and design preferences, while applying the same German precision to create each piece of furniture. Embracing their strength as a leading furniture maker in Singapore, they continue to collaborate with individuals, business owners, designers and architects to create bespoke handmade furniture under KAUTZ.

Our People
Till Kautz, Master Furniture Maker
Till’s crafting journey began in his teens where he worked many years at Schreinerei Pecher, crafting standalone furniture pieces and fittings for high-end commercial and private residential projects in Bayern, Germany.
The range of work gave him ample opportunities to apply different techniques while working across solid wood and other materials. He hopes to share his passion for furniture making with his clients in Asia.

With a background in civil engineering, log home construction and custom furniture making in the United States, Johnathon is well acquainted with the intricacies of woodworking. Since moving to Singapore in 2018, he has rekindled his passion for carpentry.
Johnathon’s attention to detail, dedication to quality and enthusiasm for the industry make him a valuable addition to our team.

Real Estate and interior décor have always been her passions. Over the years of global travels and indulging in home alteration projects, she has developed a keen eye for aesthetically beautiful things that are both functional and appealing to different lifestyles.
Fiona’s forte in finance, real estate investments and business sustainability makes her well skilled at managing the business and clients.
